The first Hobey Baker Recipient from the University of Michigan, Morrison led the nation in both regular season scoring (26-52-78) and assists (1.32 per game)… was on the ice for more than 50% of Michigan goals … in leading the Wolverines to the 1997 CCHA title and a birth in the NCAA Championship, Morrison was named the CCHA Player of the Year for the second consecutive season … shattered school records for total points (261) and total assists (164) ranking him among the Top 10 all-time point leaders in NCAA history with 283 … scored the overtime, winning goal in the 1996 NCAA Championship title game … Hobey Baker Finalist and All-America selection three straight years … was a second round pick (3rd overall) of the New Jersey Devils … Brendan has enjoyed an illustrious pro career beginning with New Jersey (three seasons), Vancouver (seven seasons),  Anaheim, Dallas and Washington.  He is now playing his 14th NHL season and is in his second year with Calgary having amassed over 950 NHL games played.
